Introduction to Blackjack
The popular card game "Blackjack" comes from another equally popular game that has existed for centuries. The original game was "La Veintiuna" or "El Veintiuno" played in Spain in Miguel de Cervantes (Miguel de Cervantes), and the card game was mentioned in his work "Rinconete y Cortadillo" (1612). Since the end of the 16th century, its appeal has made it very popular among people. Since then, the game has traversed Europe and the United States, so it is possible to enrich itself with various changes that have led to one of the most attractive attractions in today's casinos and attracted many fans.
Blackjack is an adaptation that retains the winning goals and rationale, although certain rules have been added to make them unique. The first and most obvious point is that in this game, the joker (joker) is not used in the French deck of 52 playing cards. Depending on the casino or online room, the deck will contain 1 to 8 decks. Six of them are the most universal numbers, but we will learn more and enter the world of blackjack.
The game involves facing the bank alone, comparing their hand with each player's hand, trying to get 21 points or the closest number without going over.
In order to obtain this score, the values of the two cards originally assigned to each player are added, as well as the values of those new cards that can be added in the game round. If the two starting cards add up to 21, it is called blackjack, which is the best way to play. When the player does not use two cards to add 21, he can ask for that number or a card close to one, but if the player exceeds these 21 points, he will lose no matter what the bank does.
Banks are also involved, but there are very clear rules that must be considered. If the total number of bank cards does not exceed 16, you must request a letter; if the total number of bank cards does not exceed 17, you must stand.
When will the bank win and when will it lose? On the other hand, the bank defeats all players over 21 years old and players of lower value, and establishes connections with players who have the same amount. If the hand is higher than your own player, the bank’s hand loses; if the bank passes, everyone standing loses.
Next, we will expand this information, and we will see more features of the game to understand how it works and resolve any doubts that may arise.
The card value in the blackjack
In order to be able to add 21 points for the best game, we must know the value corresponding to each card in the deck, because there are some changes compared to other similar games.
Ace is the only card in the deck with two values 1 and 11. The player who owns it will choose a value between them according to their needs. They are very valuable letters of this virtue.
Number cards with indexes from 2 to 10 have values corresponding to the numbers.
For its part, all numbers (Jack, Queen and King) have the same value: 10. For players, the important information is to know that out of 52 cards, 16 cards are worth 10.
In the table below, you can see the value of all cards in the deck:
Tables, seats and dealers
The game has a specific table like poker or roulette. It is a semicircular table or half moon, the straight side of which is occupied by the dealer representing the bank, while the curved side is occupied by the player, and each table can accommodate up to 7 people.
The dealer is the person who directs the game, always instructs which player must take action, is responsible for dealing cards and withdrawals, managing the payment/collection of bets, and the hands of playing the bank.
The first step of the blackjack hand is the betting round. In the game, every player sitting at the table wants to place his bet in his game area. The bet amount must be between the maximum and minimum limits. These restrictions are set by banks or casinos. The dealer will not bet even if he participates in all activities on behalf of the bank.
Once a bet is placed, the dealer will announce "no more" and the entry of other players will be closed until the next round. After that, he will deal two cards to each player and one to himself. The cards are dealt one at a time, starting from the player to the left side of the dealer in a clockwise direction. All cards processed at this stage will be displayed at the beginning to show their value.
If the dealer's out card is a trump card, and only in this case, he can choose to provide insurance to the player immediately after the transaction ends.
Insurance: This option allows participants to bet that the banker will own blackjack, so they can recoup part of the investment because the investment will be paid 2-1. The maximum amount of insurance allowed is half of each player's initial bet.
The player turns around. Now it’s time for the player to the left of the dealer to start playing. He (and other participants in the corresponding round) will likely perform the following actions to win:
If the two initial cards are even or have the same value, the player can decide to play one or two hands (divide).
Split or Split: It consists of splitting the playing cards and adding a new bet on one of them. Therefore, one of the split cards will be used to play the cards first, and then another remaining card will be used to play the cards. If the player decides to split the cards, another card will be dealt to him in each hand, and the game ends. In other words, you will not be able to request more letters.
If the player decides not to split the cards, they can do the following:
Inquiry Cards: In order to reach 21 cards or as close as possible, you can ask for any number of cards until the target sum is exceeded. If the total number of cards exceeds 21, the player has already touched, and his cards and the corresponding bet for that hand will be cancelled.
If the hand to play comes from separating two Aces, each A can only request one card.
Position: Whether at the beginning or after asking for a card, if the player thinks he has a chance to win the game, or asks for more cards to make him over 21 years old, he can choose to end the game and stand and wait for the dealer Turned around.
Double or double the bet: This option allows the initial bet to be doubled in exchange for a single card. After that, if the hand exceeds 21 cards, it will be closed or discarded.
Associate host. After waiting for the end of the last player's turn at the table, it's time for the bank to defend itself. If there are no remaining active players, the game will be terminated if the dealer does not play, and a new round of betting will begin.
For the remaining active players, the bank's hand will automatically bet, and if the sum of their two cards is equal to or less than 16, they will have to ask for cards until they increase by 17 or more. If you are over 21 years old, your hands will be discarded. If your total number of cards reaches 17 or more, you will be forced to stand. The rules are clear, and dealers are not allowed to make a decision.
Once the dealer has completed the deal, the prize is distributed.
Every time a game higher than the bank wins the same bet 1-1, if it is blackjack, the odds are 3-2. The play is lower than the dealer's hand loss.
If Blackjack is successfully split, it will not be considered as such when collected.
Games that cooperate with the dealer will resume their original betting without winning or losing. -If the dealer's hand is checked, all standing participants will win.
In the case of an insured, if the bank finally gets blackjack, it will pay the insured 2-1.
After the bonus is distributed, the hand ends and a new betting round begins.
